Woman Arrested for Armed Robbery

City police arrested a woman just after midnight Friday in connection with an armed robbery that occurred in the early morning hours of June 27 at a business in the 1000 block of Kennedy Driver.    43 year old Alala Woods of Kankakee was taken into custody following a struggle with officers in the 1500 block of East Bourbonnais Street.  Police alleged that Woods was armed with a handgun and was wearing a hulk face mask when she struggled with and then forced the manager to open the cash register before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash.
