The Milner Family built the foundation for the multimedia company we are today.  Their passion for broadcasting was passed down to their son, Tim Milner, who, with the support of a visionary Board of Directors, leads our team through the constantly evolving media landscape.

Our Leadership Team

Tammy Sowder - President & General Manager

Having grown up in Kankakee County, I’ve had the privilege of experiencing firsthand just how incredible this community is. After graduating from Kankakee High School, I moved away to pursue further education but was eventually drawn back by my family and the chance to contribute to the growth of my hometown. Outside of the office, I enjoy exploring local nature trails, reading, and watching soccer—whether it’s my son on the field or cheering for the Chicago Fire.

Tammy holds a Master’s Degree from Western Illinois University in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, is a Board Member of the Kankakee County Chamber, and has earned a Rising Through the Ranks Management Certificate from RAB (Radio Advertising Bureau) in 2023.
