Bradley Shooting Claims 46-year-old Kankakee Man

We have more details now on that shooting at a bar on Broadway in Bradley overnight that took the life of a 46-year-old Kankakee man. In a press release, Bradley Police say they were called to the bar at 226 West Broadway just before midnight last night for a report of shots fired. When they got there, officers found three people hit by gunfire and had all transported to local hospitals for treatment. County Coroner Bob Gessner says one of the victims, Jess Hackney of Kankakee later died of his wounds. Gessner said the preliminary cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds. Bradley police say they’ve arrested 39-year-old Anthony G. Kendrick the second on murder and gun-related charges. Bradley Police say they believe it to be an isolated incident and say there is no further threat to the community.
