Kankakee County Sheriff’s Police report an arrest after a Bradley man allegedly fled from a traffic stop Tuesday night. According to reports, it was just after 6:30 Tuesday evening deputies tried to stop the motorcycle driven by 37-year-old John M Planinsek Junior in the area of Kennedy Drive and Broadway because the cycle allegedly didn’t have a license plate. Instead of stopping, Planinsek reportedly took off up Kennedy Drive toward Bourbonnais at speeds in excess of 80 miles an hour. Deputies say they ended their pursuit due to heavy traffic. A short time later, deputies were called to the area of Stockton and Marsile Street in Bourbonnais for a motorcycle crash. When they got there, deputies say they arrested Planinsek for an outstanding warrant from Illinois State Police, Â aggravated fleeing and eluding among other charges related to the chase.
