Former Bloom Teacher Arrested for Having Sex with Student

A former teacher at Bloom Trail High School in Steger has been arrested for allegedly having a sexual relationship with one of his female students.  Ronald C. Giglio of Cedar Lake is charged with Criminal Sexual Assault with a victim between the ages of 13 and 18 who holds a position of trust or supervision over the victim. The incident occurred while Giglio was a teacher at Bloom in 2002.
