The first woman ever elected to the Jasper County Indiana Superior Court will begin her term on the bench on January 1st. Demotte area attorney Emily Waddle defeated sitting judge John Potter in November’s election. Waddle tells the Rensselaer Republican that she feels blessed by the amount of support she’s received.
