Kankakee man arrested following crash in Bourbonnais

Bourbonnais Police report they have a Kankakee man in custody following a rollover crash on North Convent early this morning. According to reports, it was just before three this morning when the car driven by 26-year-old Tyrone Young of Kankakee was traveling north bound on Convent, missed the curve near Bishop McNamara Grade School and rolled over on its side, taking out the school’s fence. There were no reported injuries from the crash, but Young was arrested by Bourbonnais Police for DUI and failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
