Kankakee Park District Gets a New Executive Director

The Kankakee Valley Park District has a new Executive Director.  The Daily Journal reports that Ross Bruni was given the job at this week’s park district board meeting.  Bruni takes over from former executive director Dayna Heitz who resigned in April for health reasons.  Bruni comes to the Kankakee Park District after serving as the assistant general manager of the Maggie Daley Park in Chicago.  Bruni was given a 120,000 dollars contract.
