Position: Station Support Specialist 

Temporary Part-Time: Approximately 13 weeks : July 14, 2025 – October 10, 2025

Hours: Monday – Friday : 20 hours/wk. : 9am – 1pm 

Compensation: $15/hr.

Position Overview:

Milner Media Partners, LLC (WVLI 92.7 / WFAV 95.1 / WIVR 101.7 / WYUR 103.7), an Equal Opportunity Employer, has a temporary part-time opening for a Station Support Specialist. This position is in-office at our Bourbonnais, IL location and requires the ability to climb stairs and have a valid driver’s license.  This role plays a critical part in providing valuable support to multiple departments. The ideal candidate should have a goal-oriented mindset and thrive as part of a team. This role will contribute to the maintenance of positive customer and listener relationships, while ensuring the smooth operation of our office. 

Essential Duties:

  • General administrative and clerical support
  • Perform functions of front desk associate: answering/directing telephone calls, greeting guests, and answering general station emails
  • Responsible for organizing and fulfilling station promotions (internally & externally)
  • Work as a point of contact between customers and internal team members.
  • Communicate effectively with team members keeping all parties up to date on station promotions/events

  • Manages time to meet deadlines; focuses on urgent and important tasks; avoids procrastination; follows up; shows strong attention to detail.
  • Adapts to shifts in priorities and urgencies; is extraordinarily flexible.
  • Assumes responsibility & accountability for assignments and tasks
  • Exhibits good interpersonal skills; collaborates with others
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google platform and overall computer literate.
