Eby died in prison

The man who confessed to the murder of three-year-old Riley Scott has died in prison. Chicago media reports 52-year-old Scott Eby died late last week while serving a life sentence at the Menard Correctional Center in downstate Illinois. Riley Fox was kidnapped from the Wilmington home in June of 2004 and her body was found in a creek four miles away. Eby confessed to the crime in 2010, saying he’d broken into the Fox home, but didn’t find anything to steal so he took the girl.
