Gas prices continue to spike. Triple-A says the average cost for a gallon of regular no-lead gas is four-dollars 85 cents across the Land of Lincoln, up 19 cents overnight and 55 cents more expensive than it was just last week. In the Kankakee area that gallon of gas is running 4.77 on average, 56 cents more expensive than it was a week ago. Triple-A says gas is running four-dollars-67 cents a gallon on average in Iroquois County, it’s 4.64 a gallon on average in Ford County, 4.82 in Grundy County and 4.94 a gallon in Will County.
Across the State Line, Triple A says that gallon of gas will set you back four dollars 74 cents a gallon on average in Newton County, it’s 4.86 on average in Benton County and 4.84 a gallon in Jasper County. Triple-A says gas is running four dollars-79 cents on average across the Hoosier State.
