Property Tax Assessment Relief for Storm Impacted Properties

Kankakee County Supervisor of Assessments Erich Blair is reminding property owners with severe storm damage from March to contact their Township Assessor or the County Assessments Office to have their property reviewed.

Blair said nothing can be done to adjust this year’s property tax bills but next year’s bills can be adjusted for qualifying storm-damaged properties.
