At Wednesday morning’s meeting of the Kankakee County Board’s Executive Committee, 79th District State Representative Jackie Haas gave the committee and update on what she expects the Fall Veto session to look like in Springfield this November.
Haas said she also expects there to be discussions over bills related to the Power Act, Chicago Public Schools Funding, and the stadium authority bill to try and keep the Chicago Bears in Illinois. Haas went on to say that if that if these bills are discussed in the Fall Veto session that there will be a lame duck session in January.
